We are intently interested in pottery throughout antiquity, from the earliest functional-ware to the classic forms of the Mediterranean civilisations. Through the medium of clay we feel a direct connection to a ‘family tree’ of potters stretching back through human history.  Our unique Roman 'Lady' jugs are each named after individual women of the Republic or Empire.
